Warning from Krishna: Once, Krishna warned Radharani to be cautious about associating too closely with Narada Muni, as he is skilled in instigating disputes between people. Radharani, however, did not take Krishna’s warning seriously.
Narada Muni’s Visit: One day, Narada Muni came to Braja, hoping to witness some of the Lord’s divine pastimes. Hearing Narada’s sweet singing, Krishna granted him a wish. Narada requested to see Lalita and Krishna sitting side-by-side, swinging together.
Krishna Fulfills the Wish: That day, Radharani was late in meeting Krishna. Krishna decided to fulfill Narada’s desire and swung with Lalita. Despite Lalita’s reluctance, Krishna insisted. They sat together and began swinging.
Narada’s Mischief: Seeing them swinging, Narada Muni went to Srimati Radharani’s house and told her that Lalita Devi was swinging with Krishna. He suggested she go to Lalita Kunda to see for herself. Radharani hurried there and, upon seeing Lalita and Krishna swinging together, became very angry and ran away.
Krishna’s Attempt to Pacify: Krishna then tried to pacify Radharani, but she refused to listen. He explained that Narada Muni had requested Him to swing with Lalita and that Narada was so adept at causing quarrels that he had even managed to fool her. Krishna hoped that in the future, Radharani would not trust Narada again.
Lessons to Be Learned:
- Be Mindful of Instigators: Even in divine pastimes, there are those who may stir trouble. It is wise to be cautious of such individuals.
- Trust and Communication: Misunderstandings can be resolved through clear communication and trust.
- Divine Playfulness: The Lord’s pastimes are full of divine playfulness, teaching us the importance of light-heartedness and humor in relationships.
- Forgiveness and Understanding: Recognizing the playful nature of others can help us forgive and understand their actions better.
Prayer:
“O Lord Krishna, please grant us the wisdom to see through misunderstandings and the patience to resolve conflicts with love and trust. May we learn from Your divine pastimes the importance of communication, forgiveness, and playful devotion.”
