One day Vibhishana brother of Ravana has written Ra – Ma on his house.
When his brother Ravana come to visit Him, he notices this.
So he asked Vibhishana, “Why you have written name of my enemy on your house?”
“No, no, my dear brother! This is not written name of your enemy Rama. In this word Ra – stands for you Ravana and Ma stand for your wife, Mandodari. I have written Ra – Ma just to indicate that my house and everyone else inside belongs to you!”
By hearing these words of his brother Vibhishana, Ravana becomes very happy. He ordered that Vibhishana should write RaMa at every house of Lanka, so it will be known to everyone who is king and queen.

Reflections on the story:
A devotee should be very smart when trying to give a holy name to others. The Holy name may look as bitter medicine who people will not like to taste it.
So it is to be properly packed and then given in the easily acceptable way. Just as bitter medicines we put in a capsule so will not feel bitterness when taken.
The merciful holy name has also appeared in all world languages. Sometimes it does not indicate Krishna or God directly; it may indicate some places or kind of food. Nevertheless, people for sure will get some sort of benefit.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.
PS: I humbly request all the devotees to please forward and share this moral / instructive stories they hear so that everyone can be benefited by hearing about Krishna and his dear devotees.
