The Divine Meeting by Manasi-ganga
There is a truly enchanting story about the divine appearance of Lord Harideva, which is deeply cherished in the hearts of devotees. One day, Srimati Radharani and the gopis gathered near Manasi-ganga, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Lord Krishna. As they waited, the gopis began to feel an overwhelming sense of separation from Krishna, and their hearts ached with longing to be in His presence.

The Chanting of Harideva’s Name
In their deep longing, the gopis began to chant, “Harideva, Harideva, Harideva,” repeatedly. Their feelings of separation grew so intense that it seemed as if their very lives were slipping away, unable to bear the pain of being apart from their beloved Krishna.

The Miraculous Appearance of Lord Harideva
At the peak of their emotional intensity, something miraculous happened. Suddenly, a most beautiful Deity of Krishna appeared before them. This divine form was that of a seven-year-old boy, holding the mighty Govardhana Hill in His left hand and a transcendental flute in His right hand. The sight of this exquisite form of Krishna filled Srimati Radharani and the gopis with indescribable ecstasy and joy.

The Worship of Govardhana-natha Harideva
Overwhelmed with bliss, Radharani and the gopis immediately began to worship the beautiful Deity with all their love and devotion. They made countless offerings, pouring their hearts into every act of worship. This Deity, known as Govardhana-natha Harideva, became the center of their devotion, and from that day forward, Radharani and the gopis would come daily to offer their prayers and perform worship to this divine form.
